Dr. Sun Wook Kim, Founder, Chairman and Director
Sun Wook is the founder, Chairman and Director of Nesscap Energy Inc. He is also the Chairman of Nesscap Co., Ltd. in Korea and Chief Executive Officer of Ness Co., Ltd. in Korea. Before founding Ness Co., Ltd. in August 1999, Sun Wook was a Molecular Science and Engineering professor in Ajou University in Korea. Sun Wook earned both his Ph.D. and Master of Material Engineering in Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and also holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering in Seoul National University in Korea.
Dennis Orwig, Chief Executive Officer
Dennis has extensive experience in power and technology development as Chief Executive Officer and senior executive of private and public companies over the last 20 years. Prior to joining Nesscap, Dennis was Chief Executive Officer of Novatec Biosol AG, a solar power technology and manufacturing company. His senior management roles include the US Chief Executive Officer of ABB Power Generation and Chief Executive Officer of Catalytica. While CEO of ABB Power Generation, Mr. Orwig was closely involved in ABB's design and construction of two of the parabolic trough Solar Energy Generating Systems projects built at Kramer Junction, California. As a senior executive in start-up and early stage companies, his leadership drove significant growth in profitability and shareholder value in the competitive global energy markets.
Mr. Orwig has extensive business experience in the US, UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia markets. This experience extends to developing global strategic partnerships with industry and government including counterparties such as GE and Siemens and the US Government Department of Energy. Mr. Orwig holds an MBA from Duke University, a BS in Paper Chemistry and a BA in Applied Science, both from Miami University.
Jim Zuidema, Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Nesscap, Jim Zuidema held a variety of senior financial positions in the global semiconductor industry. He began his financial career in 1996 with Intel, in California, where he held positions supporting Sales and Strategic Planning. In 2000, Jim moved to Moscow, Russia where he headed the finance and administration functions for Intel's fast-growing EMEA emerging market region. In 2007, he helped start up and run finance operations at Numonyx, a vertically-integrated flash memory company founded by Intel and ST Microelectronics. Most recently, Jim held a senior financial role at Micron Technologies which acquired Numonyx in 2010. Jim holds both an MBA and BS Engineering degree from Cornell University.
Robert Tressler, Chief Business Development Officer
Robert was appointed as Chief Business Development Officer and he is responsible for directing and implementing the Company's sales and marketing operations as well as potential strategic projects.
In his business career he has travelled extensively throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas in varied roles and responsibilities as they relate to sales, marketing, mergers, acquisitions, technology license transfers and executive management. He was with Maxwell Technologies from 1999 to 2006 as a corporate officer and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for their ultracapacitor business. He has been with Nesscap since 2007 as the Company's Senior Vice President and General Manager.
Stephen Oliva, Chief Operating Officer
Stephen Oliva has over 25 years of experience in operations and product development in the high-technology and energy technology industries. Throughout his career he has progressed through a series of technical and managerial positions and has held senior management positions for the last 15 years. Most recently he held the position of Vice President of Manufacturing and Materials for a major international control networking company, with responsibility for all manufacturing, purchasing, planning and logistics functions. Leading teams in the United States and the People's Republic of China he was also responsible for all outsourced manufacturing subcontractors and ASIC suppliers. Also active in the company's new product development efforts, Mr. Oliva led the commercial release of over 35 new products during his tenure. Mr. Oliva holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a MBA from Stanford University.
Juergen Auer, Managing Director - Europe
Juergen Auer has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in Europe and the United States. Mr. Auer has been involved with the sales and distribution of ultracapacitors since 2000. From 2003 to 2010 Mr. Auer held various sales and marketing positions with Maxwell Technologies, Inc. including Director of Sales and marketing for North America and Director of Automotive. While at Maxwell Mr. Auer most particularly developed the wind energy and automotive sectors. Mr. Auer holds a B.S. in Electronic Engineering.

Sun Wook Kim, Chief Executive Officer
Sun Wook is the Chief Executive Officer of Nesscap, Inc. and has been Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nesscap, Inc. since October 2004. He is also the Chairman of Nesscap Co., Ltd. in Korea and Chief Executive Officer of Ness Co., Ltd. in Korea.
Before founding Ness Co., Ltd. in August 1999, Sun Wook was a Molecular Science and Engineering professor in Ajou University in Korea. Prior to this, he was a Professor of Molecular Science and Engineering at Ajou University in Korea. Sun Wook earned his Ph.D. and M.S. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Material Engineering and has a Bachelor of Science degree from Seoul National University in Chemical Engineering.
Young Ho Kim, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director
Young Ho Kim was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Nesscap Co., Ltd. in September 2010. He was the Head of the R&D department at Nesscap Co., Ltd. since May 2004, after being appointed a registered director in March 2003. Before joining Nesscap, Young Ho was a Manager at Daewoo Electronic Component Co., Ltd. for approximately 5 years until February 2000. Prior to that, he was a Senior Research Scientist at Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute in Korea. Young Ho earned both his Ph.D. and Master degrees in Material Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology (KAIST), and his Bachelor degree in Inorganic Material Engineering at Seoul National University in Korea.
Hyung Sik Ahn, Manufacturing Technology
Hyung Sik Ahn is the Head of the Manufacturing Technology Team since his appointment in March 2001. Until the end of 1999, Hyung Sik had worked at Daewoo Electronic Component Co., Ltd. as a Senior Researcher. He earned both his Master of Science and B.S. in the Inorganic Material Science at Kyungnam University in Korea. He has also earned an MBA from the Business School at Sungkyunkwan University in Korea.
Kwang Sub Beon, Production
Kwang Sub Beon is the Head of the Production Management Team at Nesscap Co., Ltd. He was appointed to this position in August 2002. Prior to this he was a department head at Kinori-tech Co., Ltd., and a Manager at Daewoo Electronic Component Co., Ltd. He earned his B.S. in Electronic Engineering at Kyung Hee University in Korea.
Moon Hyoung Lee, Marketing
Moon Hyoung Lee is the Head Director of Marketing Team at Nesscap Co., Ltd. He was appointed to this position in 2007. Before he joined at Nesscap Co., Ltd. in 2005, he started his first job at SK Group in 1991. He also worked for Samwha Electric Co., Ltd. for 6 years and during his last 2 years in Samwha Electric Co., Ltd., he was a sojourning employee representing Samwha Europe GmbH in Germany. He earned his B.A. in Russian Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Korea and majored in the Soviet and Eastern European Area Studies at the Graduate school of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Korea.
